The client is in charge of operation and maintenance manuals of the president's helicopter. The old materials were created in Arbortext and the client wanted to be free to choose other editing environments, based on DITA.
The conversion to DITA was supplemented with a custom output to adaptive HTML5, allowing the client to perform small edits to the content in a web browser, rather than supplying every reviewer a license for structured authoring software.
